My client was indicted for First Degree Murder after a fatal shooting outside of a nightclub. He was the passenger in an automobile when he was attacked through the window of the car. My client had a concealed weapons permit and shot the aggressor. He was subsequently arrested and charged with murder. I filed a Motion to Dismiss based on Florida's "stand your ground" law and was successful in getting all of the charges dropped. It was among the first cases to achieve dismissal under the relatively new law.
My client was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder. The charges stemmed from a drive-by shooting. At trial we successfully discredited multiple eye witnesses and exposed a shoddy investigation enroute to a not guilty verdict.
My client, an army veteran, was charged with Second Degree Murder in the stabbing death of a neighbor. I successfully argued self defense and he was found not guilty at trial.
An FSU football player and eventual NFL first round draft pick, was charged with sexual battery in a date rape scenario. After a contentious trial with an all woman jury, my client was exonerated with a twenty minute not guilty verdict.

Through a vigorous cross examination we were able to demonstrate to the Court that my client had acted appropriately and that there was not evidence to support a criminal charge. Most importantly, my client got her career back.
My client was charged with a violent felony after an altercation with his girlfriend's angry ex-boyfriend. At trial we were able to prove that the alleged "victim" was actually the aggressor. We were successful in showing the jury that my client acted within his rights in defending himself and was only charged with a crime because he won the fight.

A college student was charged with Online Solicitation and Traveling to Meet A Minor. He had exchanged messages with an undercover officer posing as a teenage girl on a casual encounters message board and they had agreed to meet up. The client had been caught up in a sting operation. After a lengthy period of litigation, the charges were dismissed after the filing of a Motion to Dismiss based largely upon entrapment. Of the 70+ people arrested in the sting operation, this is the only known dismissal of charges.
My client was a young man with some emotional and intellectual deficits. He was charged with sexual battery in a case that was daunting. Eventually, we were able to establish that things were not what they seemed and that he had not, in fact, committed a crime, in any way.
